The Old Vinyl Factory Sessions are a series of live recordings by various musicians in an old vinyl factory in England. I stumbled across the project after seeing a video of KT Tunstall singing an acoustic track from her new album. The project began in Oct 2012 and has continued sporadically over the past 2 years with numerous artists coming to play in echoes and bare halls where the records that many of us love were once lovingly pressed. There is something so romantic about musicians playing with the echoes and acoustics of these old halls, left to crumble silently on their own, no longer bustling and busy. The videos are simple – musicians, their music and these beautiful backdrops.
