I walked past this window display in one of my favourite shops this afternoon after meeting an old friend for coffee. What an amazing inspiration. I have been looking for scientific specimens for my art installation project, “Finally!!’ I thought, Something on display that I would buy!!”…but alas, it was not for sale.
I need a shop so I can change the window display all the time…. however I wouldn’t taunt people with things they can’t buy 😦

You should have a look at the shops in Lonsdale Street traders eg Elseware – they could probably source some stuff for you, also I just found this http://www.ausinsales.com

yeah I had a look on the weekend, there was some pretty interesting stuff, but i’ve been picking up stuff from the old vintage warehouse place in fyshwick mostly 🙂
