These images are from a shoot I did on large format negatives yesterday. They aren’t great, in fact the shoot was a near disaster (due to technical difficulties) but these two images did show me something interesting. Firstly this one of Anna looks really old due to the intense darkness of the lower part of the neg. While my next shoot with her will hopefully not be so….failesque, I did like the pose that she struck and I’m very happy with the casting of her as crossing dressing Botanist, Lousia Atkinson.
The next one is of Katie, portraying Miles Franklin – the pseudonymmed Australian author from the 19th century. I double exposed this one (again this was a catastrophic fail on my part), and though I was not happy with stuffing up two negs, I did like the effect that it had.
